A mere three-paragraph glimpse into the backgrounds of the candidates, leaving us in the dark about how they intend to tackle the pressing issues that grip our neighborhoods – crime, homelessness, and drug abuse.

Our local mainstream television and print media, the very sources we rely on for information, aren’t committing the time and resources needed to give challengers the visibility they deserve. It’s a challenge faced by those who dare to challenge the status quo.
