The Campaign

Are you tired of the lack of transparency when it comes to political candidates and their motivations?

We are  hosting a series of open discussions with candidates running for local, State, and Congressional office in the 2024 elections.

In this episode, we introduce Gus Mattammal, who has launched his campaign to represent the northern part of Silicon Valley in California’s State Legislative District 23.

Gus Mattammal’s journey is a testament to the American dream.

Hailing from an inner-city neighborhood in St. Louis, he defied the odds to graduate high school and pursue higher education. A profound appreciation marked his arrival in California in the 1990s for the Golden State. However, witnessing California’s recent population decline and loss of congressional representation has fueled Gus’s determination to make a change. He believes in the solvability of the state’s problems but recognizes the need for fresh faces in the legislature.
