We see the beginning, the shortages of materials, components, and finished goods are creating a compounding effect in the supply chain crisis.  We see the pictures of 96+ cargo ships awaiting a berth at the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, truckers are waiting, factories are waiting, stores are waiting, consumers are waiting…

However, time is not on our side.  There does not appear to be any short-term resolution to the types of capacity constraints at our shipping ports, trucking, and railroad transportation systems as well as the shortage of skilled labor to operate these facilities.
