Overview
We see worldwide condemnation of the unprovoked destruction being inflicted on Ukraine by Russia. The defense mounted by Ukraine has been effective and inspirational. Reading the tea leaves of recent movements by the Russians provides some hope that Russia’s priorities have changed. We could be at the beginning of building a basis for a cease-fire and the beginning of serious negotiations. But the underlying conflicts will need to be addressed in order to have a sustainable cessation of the destruction taking place in Ukraine.
In this podcast, we will discuss the background factors:
- The three waves of refugees
- Factors for the Russian decision to destroy Ukraine
- The political response in Europe to the Russian invasion
- European dependence on Russian energy, oil, and gas
- Is there broad acceptance of Ukraine as a neutral country?
- The Displacement of the Ukraine Startup Community and Ukraine IT professionals
- Who will rebuild Ukraine after the war ends?
